Meet Sam Snape
Born, raised and now living and working on the farm, Sam Snape is a country music artist, farmer, husband and father who knows what it means to work hard and chase a dream.
Growing up on the farm taught Sam a value of commitment, resilience and getting in and having a crack. What you see is what you get with Sam. From the falcon with a bull bar in his second single release “Old Dog, Old Ute, Old Hat” to the open roads and dust in the air from the title track of his Debut Album “Good Things”. Sam is a working farmer, family man and country artist who lives the stories he writes and sings about.
An Academy of Country Music graduate, Sam has steadily built a reputation as one of country music's emerging artists. His achievements include winning the People's Choice Award at the Ekka Country Music Showdown, taking out the TMFM Discovered Competition at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, and now just recently been selected as a finalist for the Mothertone Muster Talent Search at the Gympie Music Muster for 2026.
Never one to wait for opportunities to come knocking, Sam believes in creating them. When he had a vision for bigger shows and better experiences for audiences, he rolled up his sleeves and started building his own mobile stage. It's the same attitude he's carried throughout his life, if something needs doing, get in and make it happen.
Away from the stage, Sam is passionate about giving back to the community. Over the past two years, he has hosted and headlined his own charity events, raising more than $20,000 for charity’s such as the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. A cause close to his heart and a reflection of his belief that success is about helping others along the way.
“Balancing family life, farming and a growing music career isn't always easy”, Sam says, “ but I wouldn't have it any other way”. Whether he's behind the wheel of a tractor, in the workshop, on the road to a show, or standing under stage lights in front of a crowd, he brings the same passion, determination and gratitude to everything he does.
With big dreams, strong country roots and a willingness to work for every opportunity, Sam Snape is proving that hard work, authenticity and a good attitude can still take you a long way.
